Virtual Choir 4 Released!

Back in January, I blogged about Eric Whitacre‘s Virtual Choir 4 Kickstarter. Now, after much anticipation, it has finally been released. And, through the generosity of 1,938 backers donating $122,555 (USD), we have it to enjoy.

Here it is.

Visually and musically different from the first three, it contains roughly five minutes of singing, followed by approximately eight minutes of credits. No wonder, as there were 8,409 videos submitted by 5,905 singers from 101 countries around the world. It takes a while to scroll through nearly 6,000 names.

Thank you everyone who participated by singing or donating. Thank you Eric. Together you’ve brought another wonderful thing into the world.
